How to apply for a tourist visa to Brazil

Brazil requires many tourists to obtain a visa. Please check with your local embassy if a Visa is required. You can also find out if you need a visa to travel to Brazil, by accessing:

Beginning April 10th 2025, citizens of Australia, Canada, and the United States will need a visa to enter Brazil. Those who already possess a valid physical visa in their passports
for their intended travel purpose are exempt from applying for a new one.

Important Update: From April 10th, 2025 onwards, passport holders from the United States, Australia, and Canada visiting Brazil, whether by air, sea, or land, must have an eVisa - Electronic Visa
when entering Brazil. Travelers arriving on April 9th 2025 are strongly encouraged to secure their eVisa in advance to prevent any travel issues due to delays or missed connections. Ensure a
smooth trip by obtaining your eVisa promptly.

The visa process in many jurisdictions will start with an online application. Below is a list of Brazillian Consulates where you can navigate to the proper page to start your visa process.
